Life OS is a personal productivity app for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We built Life OS with privacy as a core principle — your personal data stays on your device.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

All personal data you enter into Life OS — including habits, health logs, gym sessions, journal entries, finances, and goals — is stored only on your device using local storage. This data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.

Habit and routine data
Health logs (sleep, water, mood, stress, symptoms)
Gym sessions and workout history
Journal entries and reflections
Financial transactions and budgets
Personal profile (name, age, height, weight, goals)

We have no access to this data. It never leaves your phone unless you explicitly use the Export feature.

2. Analytics (Mixpanel)

We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand how the app is used so we can improve it. We collect:

A randomly generated anonymous device ID (not linked to your identity)
Feature usage events (e.g. "habit completed", "screen viewed")
App version and platform (Android)
Your subscription plan tier (free, monthly, yearly, or lifetime)

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal information through analytics. All analytics data is anonymous.

3. AI Features (Anthropic Claude)

Life OS includes an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use the AI briefing or ask questions in the AI screen, a summary of your app data (habits, health, finance, gym) is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate a response.

This data is sent only when you actively use the AI feature
Anthropic may use this data according to their own privacy policy
We do not store your AI conversations on our servers

If you do not use the AI features, no data is ever sent externally from the app.

4. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat & Google Play)

Life OS uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase:

Google Play processes your payment and shares purchase verification data with RevenueCat
RevenueCat assigns you an anonymous user ID to track your subscription status
We do not store your payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Google

5. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, Life OS schedules local reminders directly on your device. These are not sent through any server — they are generated and stored entirely on your phone. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.

6. No Account Required

Life OS does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not collect your email address, name, or any identifying information for the purpose of account management.

7. Third-Party Services

Life OS uses the following third-party services. Each has their own privacy policy:

Mixpanel — anonymous analytics
Anthropic — AI responses (only when AI features are used)
RevenueCat — subscription management
Google Play Billing — payment processing

8. Data Retention

Since all personal data is stored on your device, you are in full control. You can delete all data at any time from Settings → Reset All Data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

9. Children's Privacy

Life OS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
